Annali Italiani di Chirurgia deals with complaints and appeals in accordance with the recommendations of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).

Authors who wish to request reconsideration of a rejected manuscript can do so by emailing the journal’s Editorial Office, including the manuscript ID number. Please note that the editor-in-chief has the final authority in the decision-making process for all appeals and complaints. In some cases, an ombudsperson may be assigned to resolve claims that cannot be addressed internally.
