Technical options in bariatric surgery

Abstract
In recent years, bariatric surgery has enjoyed a high level of approval. There are several technical and surgical options.
Most of the departments of obesity surgery perform usually the same procedure, when just in a few center the procedure can be adapted depending on the patient need.
In this paper the most popular technical choices in our country are presented based on the Consensus Conference that is taking place now in the Italian Society of Obesity Surgery (SICOB), in order to give our guidelines and policies.
